From Katy….Thought for Prayer Sunday 9th August 2020, I wait for the Lord,my soul waitsand in his word I hope;My soul waits for the LordMore than watchmen for the morningMore than watchmen for the morning. Psalm 130.Gracious God in this time and space we wait for you,seeking your word and wisdom in our day to day living.Throughout our lives there have been good and bad times, times of joy and times of sorrow.And yet you do not condemn or judge us but welcome us with love and blessings.We dare to hope again and see the light of your presence before us.Heal our brokenness and in this period of lockdown may your Holy Spirit continue to guide doctors,nurses, scientists and politicians in their decision making and judgements.We continue to pray for all those in hospital and for bereaved families in this country and throughout the world Amen.
