Kirkin’ of the Council

A Kirkin’ of the Council service will be held in St Marys Parish Church on Sunday 9th October 2022.

Rev.Dr. Ruth Morrison is looking forward to welcoming visitors and Members into church on this special occasion.

The service begins at 11am and will include readings by Provost and Vice Provost of East Dunbartonshire Council. The service will be followed by Tea and Coffee in the Church Hall.

The traditional Kirkin’ service is a way for the Council to show its dedication and commitment to promoting the welfare of the community.

We hope you can take time and join us this Sunday.

National Open Day..

”As we mourn the passing of the Her Majesty, The Queen and participate in National Door Open Day, a warm welcome awaits you quiet reflection and contemplation at this sad time between 10 and 4 pm tomorrow.

Peregrine Visit…

A few weeks ago we mentioned , as Part of Glasgow Urban Wild life Project. The group have installed a nesting box on the high tower hoping that the Peregrines come back to nest there. The group have a camera trained in the nest and can monitor it remotely.

Recently we had a visit from a male peregrine checking out the tower nest box.
